For Alumni

The Hume Center is a community of learners, and that community extends beyond the training year. We value our alumni as professional colleagues and hope to connect with you and continue that mutual growth and learning that we experienced during your training at The Hume Center.

We have a protected area of this website just for alumni and current staff and trainees. To access this protected area, which includes an alumni referral list, a link to our LinkedIn group for alumni, and information on how to attain licensure, please contact Development Coordinator Chris Celio to obtain your user name and password.

ONCE LOGGED IN, PLEASE CLICK HERE TO ACCESS THE PROTECTED AREA

If you are not already receiving Hume Highlights, please consider joining by requesting Chris Celio add you to the Alumni email list. Hume Highlights is the newsletter sent to alumni and current staff and trainees that spreads news of internship and job opportunities at Hume Center or local agencies, professional events and trainings, and other announcements. The Hume Center has a large network of alumni and this newsletter demonstrates the power of that network. For example, during 2012, Hume Highlights:

  • distributed information about 44 jobs, 9 Post-Docs, and 7 openings at The Hume Center
  • celebrated 5 births, 15 dissertation defenses, 6 licensures, and 2 APA presentations
  • distributed information about 4 Board of Psychology updates, 16 Professional resources or opportunities, and 9 grants or stipends
  • invited readers to 12 events and 5 trainings

If you haven't been receiving Hume Highlights, click here to view a sample from March, 2013 to see what you've been missing out on! If you gain access to the protected area of this site, you'll be able to view an archive of the most recent Hume Highlights.

This professional network can also be a great resource to you when you are in need of consultation, looking for an internship or job, or if you need to refer someone for services in a certain language. The Hume Center is interested in creating an Alumni Association and if you are interested in spearheading this exciting movement, please contact Chris Celio from the Contact Us page.

Other ways to get involved as alumni include participating in our CEU program and Professional Development. Also, we would love to have your participation in our many annual activities, including our Golf Tournament, Sevathon walk/run event, fall Improv Show, and other exciting events.
