Background:
For more than a decade, Ilyanne has helped individuals with IDD and their caregivers in both English and Spanish to achieve their highest potential of impact in caring for the client by decreasing challenging behaviors and increasing adaptive replacement behaviors. This continues to be Ilyanne’s mission at The Hume Center by applying both ABA and the Behavioral Health Consultation practices.
Career Progression:
Ilyanne started at The Hume Center in January 2017, as a Behavior Specialist in BCS (Behavior Consulting Services). With a background in ABA she moved up to a Behavior Specialist Level II. Upon completing her Masters in Psychology, she became a Functional Supervisor, while pursuing her BCBA.
Ilyanne is currently a Behavior Consultant and Family Partner Supervisor in School Based Services, helping students and families in both English and Spanish.
Notable Achievements / Areas of Interest:
Ilyanne has supported BCS by training entry level Behavior Specialists and family partner roles. Helping Spanish speaking families getting connected to services. Bringing knowledge from ABA and IDD population to school based services.
